is back and how! The band has bagged the Song Of The Year by a Bangla band at a prestigious music awards function on Sunday for their song

, frontman Sidhu could not contain his joy. “We are extremely happy and excited. We’ve made it!” he exclaimed. “We write songs, compose songs, diligently practise and record them. This process goes on. But it is an out-of-the-world feeling when your hard work is recognised,” the frontman exclaimed.

Talking about the state of Bengali band music, Sidhu said, “The promotion of independent music in the non-film category has plummeted over the last decade. In fact, any indie song that was released post 2010 has barely featured in media, especially in the FM stations. That seriously makes a difference.”

Meanwhile, the musician also thinks that there is a need for self-introspection. “While it is true that the promotion has gone down, we can’t deny that the magic of that generation is also missing. These days, we barely find a song that is as magical as Holud Pakhi or Baranday Roddur, Hasnuhana and so on.”
