doesn’t deny the importance of it. She asserts, “I’m keen on earning but then keep no track of my money; I don’t have any interest in it. I’d rather read a book or listen to a new song than sit down with investments. Having said that, I’m aware that I need to plan my savings. That’s where my father plays a big role.” And there’s a perfect understanding between the father and daughter. “She’s always engrossed in her creative pursuits. They are time-consuming. She doesn’t want to be bogged down by other things like managing finances. As long as I’m there, she will not have to worry about that department. I’ll also make sure that a system is in place even in my absence. She knows the basics well and can handle a financial situation when needed,” shares Subhankar Chakraborty, Lagnajita’s father.
