I don’t want gifts on my b’day, we have enough: Lagnajita

She is known to be a straight forward person and Lagnajita maintains that even on her birthday. The young musician has taken a decision that she won’t receive gifts this year. The singer explained, “The pandemic has taught us that we have enough and we need to value what we have. Every birthday, or any other occasions, I used to receive a lot of dresses and other things that would just be excess. There are people who do not have means to have excess things in their lives. I’d rather encourage my friends to get things for those who do not have enough for their livelihood."
But that doesn’t mean that Lagnajita is having any less fun on her birthday today. According to the singer, she is having the best birthday this year. “On your birthday, you must do what you enjoy the most. I am going to Santiniketan for a show. I will perform and that is the most pleasurable thing for me,” she told us.
Also, Lagnajita has taken a few birthday resolutions that she promises to meet. “I want to calm down a little more. I also want to be kinder to people,” said the singer, who will return to Hosur, Tamil Nadu, to her current home on Saturday. “I will be back in May. The birthday treat will have to wait till then,” she signed off.
