Rupanjana, Saswata in a short film ‘Palok’

After betrayal from her husband and then her close childhood friend which leads to monotony and depression, Anurupa decides to end her life. She finds an unexpected visitor the day after. Does she regret her decision? Does she get a second chance? The turn of events in the short film ‘Palok’ narrating a hope story gives all the answers.
The short, directed by Ratool Mukherjee, stars popular actors Rupanjana Mitra and Saswata Chatterjee and spreads a message of positivity among all those people who get victimized day to day and suffer from depression. Debojyoti Mishra has composed the music.
Rupanjana is also playing a key role in Shamitava Chakraborty directed social drama ‘Chinnopata’ where the popular actress will be seen pairing up with Debshankar Haldar. Also starring Sayaani Ghosh and Anubhav Kanjilal in pivotal roles, the film will go on the floors from March 20. Interestingly, years back Rupanjana and Debshankar was seen as a married couple in a tele series ‘Chena Mukher Sari’ but this time story is completely different.
