“I am playing a Punjabi grandmother whose daughter is married to a Bengali. She is very forward-thinking, fun-loving and a kind of granny with whom you bond and talk to since she is very open-minded about everything. It’s a fun character, very real, and nicely written, and I have a lot of Bengali co-actor friends in it,” said Lillete.
