Jeet: Tryst with Turkey

CT was all ears as Tollywood Fighter Jeet talked Turkey, quite literally that too!
Jeet: Tryst with Turkey
He chased his heroine not around trees but around the Greek pillars of Antalya. He wandered among dervishes whirling across the ruins of Cappadocia and basked in the warmth of hot springs and limestone terraces of Pamukkale.
And if the pictures are anything to go by, he had a jolly good time deriving Turkish delights. We are talking about Tollys most-Wanted actor, Jeet, as he recounts his experience of shooting Raj Chakrabartys soon-to-release Shotru in Turkey.

There is one question, though, that we couldnt help but ask the hunk: Why Turkey? Why not, say, some other part of Europe? Turkey was on my mind ever since Fighter happened. Oh by the way, do you know what the capital of Turkey is? Jeet asked. We were about to blurt Istanbul when the star informed that it is Ankara. Right, Ankara it is, as we realized with a start, that our geography lessons are now history. So, how did the journey begin? We took a flight from Mumbai to Istanbul. From there we went to this place called Denizli and from Denizli, we reached Pamukkale, late afternoon. Our shoot location was about 20-25 minutes away from Pamukkale but, as soon as we reached the spot, it started raining. Thankfully, it didnt last and since days are longer in Turkey, we could shoot in perfect light till about 7 pm, said Jeet about the first day of his shoot.
The actor shot three songs including Jwaliya puriye and Aye khuda in three separate locations in Turkey over a span of seven days. CT brings you a sneak peek into postcards from Turkey and Jeets notes for those who want to grab a bite of Turkish delights!
