Hosting my school’s Xmas celebration in Class XI was very special: Shantanu Maheshwari

Shantanu Maheshwari, who spent his childhood in Kolkata, recalled his Chrismas memory from school. " Kolkata Christmas used to be very special for me. I went to a convent school and their Christmas celebration used to be grand. When I was in Class XI, we got to host it. It was a great experience and perhaps the most special Christmas of my life," he told us. After shifting to Mumbai, Shantanu found a new 'Christmas love': Plum cake. "These days, my Christmas is incomplete without a slice of plum cake. It’s not that I make it myself, but ever since I came to Mumbai, my friends have been sharing plum cakes with me, and I absolutely love it. Strangely, I never got hold of good plum cakes back in Kolkata. Maybe I did not know the right bakers then," he joked.
