Thanka.Kathiravan (All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam), Fathima Farhana.S (Naam Tamilar Katchi), M.H.Jawahirullah (Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam), M.Sugumar (Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam), J.V.Durai (All India Youth Development Party), K.Rajasekar (Puthiya Tamilagam), Vallabadas.E (Tamizhaga Vaazhvurimai Katchi), M.Iyyankalai (Independent), T.Kathiravan (Independent), Sakthivel (Independent), N P Bhashgaran (Independent), S.Prem (Independent), and N.Vijayaragavan (Independent) — 13 candidates contesting from Nagapattinam in Tamil Nadu's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Nagapattinam is a General constituency. In 2021, J. Mohamed Shanavas of the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi won by a margin of 7,238 votes. The 2016 winner was Thamimun Ansari of the AIADMK. the final result will show which candidate has secured the most votes in Nagapattinam in 2026.
