Madurantakam Assembly Election Results 2026 Live Updates: AIADMK’s K Maragatham Kumaravel wins by 7,194 vote margin

In Madurantakam, K Maragatham Kumaravel of AIADMK emerged victorious, polling 69,284 votes and defeating TVK’s Ezhil Katharine Ezhilmalai by a margin of 7,194 votes. DMK’s S Amulu Ponmalar finished third with 59,838 votes, as the constituency went in favour of AIADMK.

Candidates representing DMK, AIADMK, BSP, NTK, TVK, AIPTMMK, TMVK, IND are contesting in Madurantakam and watching May 4 count as round-wise tallies emerge. As counting progresses, the figures will show which candidate is building toward a winning total.

At the designated counting centre for Madurantakam, votes cast on polling day are being processed round by round. Each successive round adds to the cumulative tallies of all contestants until the final result is declared.

Madurantakam's 2021 election was won with a margin of 3,570 votes. May 4 count will show whether the 2026 result produces a similar margin or a markedly different outcome.

Madurantakam saw S. Pugazhenthi of the DMK win in 2016, followed by Maragatham. K of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam in 2021. May 4 result will add the next chapter to this seat's electoral history.
