P.Saravanan (All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam), G.Thalapathi (Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam), V Thirunavukkarasu (Naam Tamilar Katchi), A.Kallanai (Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam), R Rajkumar (Naam Indiar Party), M J Voltaire (Socialist Unity Centre Of India (COMMUNIST)), N.Kuppusamy (Independent), J.Kesavarajah (Independent), M.P.Sankarapandi (Independent), C.Sathishkumar (Independent), D.Mohamed Ismail (Independent), P Muthusamy (Independent), and A.Rajangam (Independent) — 13 candidates contesting from Madurai North in Tamil Nadu's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Madurai North is a General constituency. In 2021, Thalapathi G of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam won by a margin of 22,916 votes. The 2016 winner was V. V. Rajan Chellappa of the AIADMK. the final result will show which candidate has secured the most votes in Madurai North in 2026.
