UP TGT Answer Key 2026 released at upessc.up.gov.in; here's how to download and raise objections

Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has released the UP TGT Answer Key 2026 on its official website, upessc.up.gov.in. Candidates who appeared for the Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) examination can now check the provisional answer key to compare their responses and estimate their likely scores before the results are announced.

The UP TGT written examination was conducted on June 3 and 4, 2026, in offline mode at various centres across Uttar Pradesh.

Along with the provisional answer key, the Commission has also provided details regarding the objection process. Candidates who find any discrepancy in the answer key can submit objections within the prescribed time by providing supporting evidence. All objections will be reviewed before the final answer key is published.

The final answer key will be used for preparing the result. The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 4,181 teaching vacancies under the Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) categories in government-aided secondary schools across the state.

Candidates can calculate their probable scores using the official marking scheme.

• Marks for each correct answer: 4
• Negative marking: No
• Marks for unanswered questions: 0
• Maximum marks: 500

To estimate their score, candidates need to multiply the number of correct answers by four. For example, a candidate with 100 correct responses can expect a score of 400 marks.
