TGPSC recruitment 2026: Notification released for 222 Assistant Executive Engineer posts, registration begins on this date
The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) has announced a major recruitment drive for the post of Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) in the Transport, Roads and Buildings Department. A total of 222 vacancies will be filled through the recruitment process.
Online applications will open on June 6, 2026, and eligible candidates will be able to submit their forms through the official TGPSC website, tgpsc.gov.in. The last date to apply is July 13, 2026, up to 5 pm.
According to the notification, the recruitment examination is tentatively scheduled to be held in October 2026. Hall tickets will be made available seven days before the examination.
The vacancies are available in the Multi-Zone cadre of the Roads and Buildings Department. Of the total 222 posts, 112 vacancies are earmarked for Multi Zone-I and 110 for Multi Zone-II.
Candidates applying for the post must possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised university or institution approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Candidates holding Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) qualification are also eligible.
The minimum age required is 18 years, while the maximum age limit is 44 years as on July 1, 2026. The commission has provided age relaxation for reserved categories as per government rules.
Selected candidates will receive a pay scale of Rs 54,220 to Rs 1,33,630 per month.
Candidates belonging to the Open Category (OC) and Backward Classes (BC) categories will have to pay an application processing fee of Rs 1,000.
For Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates, the fee has been fixed at Rs 500.
The recruitment will be carried out through an objective-type written examination consisting of two papers.
The examination will carry a total of 450 marks. Paper I will be conducted in English and Telugu, while Paper II will be held in English only.
