Steel City students top state across all 3 streams in ISC

Ranchi/ Jamshedpur/Dhanbad/ Bokaro:

Steel City

students performed splendidly in this year’s

ISC

examination across all three streams — science, commerce and arts — the

results

of which were announced on Friday. Both Ayush Kumar of Rajendra Vidyalaya and Aishwarya San of Carmel Junior College got 99.5% each. Both are science

students

and both hail from Steel City.

For ISC, the marks secured in English and the best of three subjects are taken into consideration.

As many 13 students of St. Xavier’s School, Doranda in Ranchi scored 90% and above and Ayush Stephen Toppo secured 98% and emerged as the school topper. Raj Vaibhav came second with 97.25%. The school informed that a total of 115 students got first division.

Toppo scored 96 in English, 99 in Mathematics, 97 in Physics and 100 in Computer Science. The topper said that his year-long efforts bore fruit. He added that he would like to join the civil service and serve the nation.

In the science stream, Ashnette Britney Quintal, a student of De Nobili School, Dhanbad, emerged as the district’s topper with 97.25% while Vansika Sinha of St Xavier’s, Bokaro topped the district with 96.5%.

In commerce, Diya Chakravorty of Little Flower School, Jamshepdur topped in Steel City with 98.5%. Priyanshu Sanwaria of De Nobili, Dhanbad bagged the top position in the district with 96.50% while Shristi Kumari of St Xaviers, Bokaro obtained 94.75%. In Ranchi, the highest score in the commerce stream was secured by Adrika from Loreto Convent who scored 91%.

In the arts stream, once again a student from Steel City, Aishani Mishra of Loyola School, secured the top slot with 98.5%. In Ranchi, Shravya Singh and Shristi Choudhary were joint toppers from Loerto Convent with 95.25% each. Anuskha Bhattacharya of Carmel School, Dhanbad emerged as the district topper with 92.25%.
