Reduce school fees to help lockdown-hit parents: Maha BJP MLA
MUMBAI: A Mumbai

"Several people have lost their jobs in the lockdown. If the demand is not met, then the BJP will take to the streets," he said.
"I wonder why Varsha Gaikwad has given a stay on the committee looking into parents' complaints of exorbitant fee hike by some schools in the state. Gaikwad should have permitted the committee to complete its work," the BJP MLA added.
He alleged that Gaikwad "tried to malign the image of some of the parents' associations who have been demanding slashing of fees" and asked if Gaikwad, as minister, should be "protecting the interests of students or the school management".

GREAT SUGGESTION I suggest some extensions: (1) By same logic , cut down the salary of MPs to 10% and eliminate all perks. Use this to cut income tax .(2) Stop salaries to judges who say rent need not be paid to house owners, and so on Let them also learn to live on air and yet pay EMI, property tax and building maintenance (3) Increase the salary of teachers and make the school/ college owners to pay this salary with effect from 1st April 2020. WHY BOTHER IF 90% SCHOOLS close down? We deserve that (4) Force private hospitals to employ only reservation category doctors and pay them double the salary they get in Govt hospitals. Also make a law to slash the private hospital fee structure to 10% of current tariff. Who cares if 905 hospitals close down. WE WILL STILL HAVE MPs, mlaS, BUREACRTAIC BABUS, JUDGES WHO WILL FEED USRead allPost comment
