There will be two papers:
Each paper will include 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) carrying a total of 150 marks. The duration of each paper will be two and a half hours.
The question paper will be available in Hindi and English.
One important update for candidates is that the CTET qualifying certificate remains valid for a lifetime across all categories.
There is also no limit on the number of attempts. Candidates who have already qualified may appear again to improve their scores.
CBSE has clarified that candidates will not be allowed to choose their examination city while filling out the application form. The exam city and examination date will be allotted randomly by the board.
Applicants are also advised to carefully check eligibility requirements before applying because eligibility verification will be completed later by the recruiting authority.
