CBSE had earlier postponed the commencement of post-result activities and announced that the verification and re-evaluation portal would become operational from June 1 instead of the previously indicated date.
The Board had stated that additional time was required to strengthen website infrastructure and ensure a smooth application process for students.
Portal delay follows earlier technical complaints
The delay comes against the backdrop of technical complaints that surfaced during the answer-sheet access process.
Several students had reported difficulties while obtaining scanned copies of evaluated answer books. Complaints included portal access problems, payment gateway issues and discrepancies in fee displays.
The answer-sheet access stage itself became controversial after some students alleged that scanned copies were blurred, incomplete or did not correspond to their original answer books.
IIT experts involved in system review
As concerns over the digital evaluation ecosystem expanded, CBSE brought in experts from IIT Kanpur and IIT Madras to review and strengthen various technological components associated with the process.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also stated that corrective measures would be undertaken wherever discrepancies were identified and assured that student grievances would be addressed.
Despite those interventions, students attempting to access re-evaluation services reported that the relevant portal link had not become functional as expected.
Heavy traffic expected once services begin
CBSE expects substantial demand for post-result services, with lakhs of students likely to apply for verification, photocopies of answer books and re-evaluation requests.
The Board has said that the revised schedule is intended to maintain evaluation standards and minimise disruptions during the application process.
Students seeking assistance have been advised to use official CBSE support channels until the portal becomes fully operational.
The verification and re-evaluation mechanism enables candidates to seek review of totalling errors, unchecked responses and specific answers after examining copies of their evaluated answer sheets. With applications yet to begin, many students continue to await the activation of the online system.
