The show marked a wonderful beginning to her career on TV. Her character became famous among household women in a couple of days and she was looked upon as a 'sanskari bahu'. She is still remembered for her role in the show which aired for almost eight years.

Kutumb - While playing the protagonist on Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, she also took up the role of Maya Mittal on then famous show, Kutumb. Though she played the role for a little while as Sanjay's wife who passes away at an early stage of their marriage, but the impact it had on people was always good.
