Comedy Nights Bachao: Akshay Kumar-Nimrat Kaur promote Airlift

The perfect blend of action and comedy will be on the menu, this Saturday, on 'Comedy Nights Bachao' as Akshay ‘Khiladi’ Kumar will take to the hot seat along with his 'Airlift' co-star, Nimrat Kaur. The fun-filled gags and tongue-in-cheek jokes will set the tone for the new year, as the celebrity guests will have no option but to scream...Bachao!

Even before Krushna Abhishek and Bharti Singh have an opportunity to set the tone for the evening, the daredevil actor will rip them apart with his incredible comic timing. But once the actor is done, it will be his turn to face the brunt as the jodidars will turn up the heat with their share of puns.

Shamelessly plugging in his own movie, Krushna Abhishek will be seen pointing out to Akshay Kumar that their relationship has evolved from co-stars to competitors, since his movie 'Kya Kool Hai Hum 3' will release on the same day as 'Airlift'.

Bharti and Krushna will keep the momentum going as they present their own version of 'Sholay' with Akshay Kumar portraying the character of Gabbar, Bharti as Basanti, Krushna and Mubeen as Jai and Veeru respectively, and Nimrat Kaur as Kalia. As their roles change to match the essence of Sholay, this coming together of the comic minds promises to be one of the most entertaining moments of the episode! And that’s not all…Nimrat will also face the heat as the jodidars take a dig at her famous 'Lunchbox' romance with Irrfan Khan at the various situations that could have possibly cropped up!
