TIRUPATI: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Chairman YV Subba Reddy donated a cow and a calf to the Ksheeraramam temple in West Godavari district on Monday.
The biggest Hindu temples conglomerate in the country which recently embarked on a mission protect the Sacred cow by promoting cow worship across the country under the Gudiko Gomatha programme.
Speaking to reporters at the Ksheeraramam temple,
TTD chairman YV Subba Reddy appealed to the devotees of Lord Venkateswara across the globe to extend their support to the temple body's efforts in promoting cow worship across the country.
YV Subba Reddy also stated that as part of its efforts to promote and propagate the Hindu Sanathana Dharma and the glory of Lord Venkateswara, TTD is also on a mission to construct 500 odd temples at various SC-ST-BC colonies across the state of
Andhra Pradesh.
State ministers, local MLAs and devotees took part.
