Five siblings electrocuted in Salumber dist, one dies

Udaipur: Five children of a family were electrocuted and one of them died on the spot while cleaning a water tank on the riverbed in Salumber district on Thursday.Of the five children of Hakra Meena, Gabilal (19) died on the spot while Asha (13), Manisha (15), Anil (9) and Shyam Lal (11) sustained severe injuries. The injured are being treated at MB Hospital in Udaipur.Police said the incident took place just 300 metre away from their residence. The children were cleaning the tank while the electric motor was on. The live wires of the motor came in contact with water, resulting in electrocution of children, police said. TNN
