Two held for attempt to murder in Nemom
T’puram: Nemom police arrested two people for allegedly attempting to murder a youth after luring him to a secluded spot near Vellayani Church and brutally assaulting him.
The arrested have been identified as Pradeep alias Colony Suresh, a resident of Nemom, and Anoop alias Swarnam Anoop, a resident of Venganur, Nemom.
According to police, the incident occurred around 10.30pm on Sunday. The accused allegedly contacted the victim, a native of Pappanamcode, over the phone and asked him to meet them near Vellayani Church.
