Summer camps await children

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: More and more organizations and institutions are coming up with

summer camps

for children this year. Kalam, an organization promoting visual arts in association with the Thiruvananthapuram Press Club, will conduct ‘Bharatham 2019’, a summer camp for children from April 7 to 28.

The camp will include activities on cinema, drama, painting, dance, story writing, ‘kalari’, journalism and graphic designing.

The Alternatives to Violence Project India will organize an activity-oriented three-day workshop at Mitraniketan City Centre, West Fort, Perumthanni, and the first batch of the workshop for students aged between 12 and 15 years will be held from April 8 to 10. The second batch for those aged between 16 and 20 years will be held from April 15 to 17.

Trainers from Kerala Police will lead a coaching camp for children aged between 7 and 15 years in squash,
