Case against actor Jagathy stayed

KOCHI: The Kerala High Court on Fridaystayed all proceedings against Malayalam film actor Jagathy Sreekumar, inconnection with the ‘Vithura sex scandal’ case. Justice N.Krishnan Nair, while admitting the petition by Jagathy Sreekumar, fou-rthaccused in the case relating to the alleged rape of a girl from Vithura inThiruvananthapuram, by many persons, stayed all further proceedings against him.The actor was chargesheeted by a special court constituted for trial ofthis case at Kottayam. The petitioner had submitted that the prosecution had notmade any case against him.
