Mega block between Thane-Kalyan today

NAVI MUMBAI: The Central Railway will operate a Mega Block on the following suburban sections to carry out maintenance work today. In the first instance, the block will be carried out on the down fast line between Thane and Kalyan stations from 9.55 am to 3.25 pm. All Down fast line services leaving Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 9.08 am to 1.40 pm will be diverted on the Down Slow line between Thane and Kalyan stations and these trains will halt at all stations between Thane and Kalyan during the block period.
On the up and down harbour line, the block is scheduled between Nerul and Panvel stations from 10 am to 6 pm. All Up harbour line services leaving from Panvel/Belapur from 9.40 am to 6.45 pm and all Dn harbour line services leaving from Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 8.54 am to 5.04 pm will remain cancelled. Special trains will be run on the Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus -Nerul section during the block period.
The railways have permitted Harbour line passengers to travel via Thane-Vashi/Nerul Stations while services from Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus to Bandra/Andheri and back will run as per schedule. Passengers are requested to bear with the railway administration for the inconvenience caused.
