Ramgarh: The Punjab Regiment Centre (PRC), one of the oldest regiments of the
Indian Army in Ramgarh district on Saturday inducted a total of 1,121 Agniveers of batch 7 through a colourful passing-out parade after they successfully completed 24 weeks of training, it said in a statement.
Brigadier Sajesh Babu PG, commandant, PRC, who reviewed the ceremony, said that during the training, Agniveers underwent intensive physical conditioning, tactical exercises, weapon and drone training and mental endurance aimed at developing leadership qualities, courage and professionalism and a strong sense of duty.
Today’s parade reflected exceptional standards of military discipline, sub-unit cohesion, combat readiness and regimental ethos. The young Agniveers displayed confidence and dedication symbolising unwavering commitment towards service of the nation.
