Bokaro: Family members of a 26-year-old woman, who was allegedly murdered by her in-laws over dowry demands on April 3, sat on a dharna outside the office of SP demanding justice. Rabina Bibi’s family claimed her in-laws was pressuring for Rs 3 lakh as dowry and harassing her. She was killed when their demands were not met with.Rabina was married to Akhtar Raja of Pupunki village under Chas Mufassil police station limits, 14 months ago. Rabina’s father Khudus Ansari, a resident of Jainamore, claimed her in-laws told him over the phone that she had fallen from the stairs. Chas Mufassil police station in-charge Prakash Mandal said, “We are investigating all angles and action will be taken based on evidence,” he said.
