Train and flight services

continued to be disrupted due to the fog in north India on Tuesday.

Train number 12811 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT)-Hatia Express reached Hatia station at 8:45 am instead of 3:45 am. Train Number 18102 Jammu Tawi-Tata Nagar Express ran 11 hours behind schedule. Similarly, train number 12818

Swarn Jayanti, which was running 28 hours late on Monday, was further delayed on Tuesday.

According to officials at Ranchi railway division, the delay was caused due to dense foggy conditions in the northern routes leading to poor visibility.

Meanwhile, an Indigo flight from Ranchi-New Delhi was rescheduled due to operational reasons. The flight took off around 10 pm instead of 8:15 pm. Sources from New Delhi said the weather was comparatively clearer than other days. "We did not reschedule the timings of several flights today," an official from New Delhi said.

"The Go Air flight from New Delhi-Ranchi scheduled to reach at 2:30 pm was cancelled for operational issues," a Go Air staff at Birsa Munda airport said.
