CJ Sinha inspects Raipur courts, pushes for faster case disposal

Raipur: Chhattisgarh high court CJ Ramesh Sinha conducted a surprise inspection of the district and family courts in Raipur on Saturday, even during the Diwali vacation. He reviewed the status of old pending cases, directed their speedy disposal, and expressed satisfaction over improvements since his previous visit.Accompanied by senior high court officials, the Chief Justice emphasised his continued efforts to strengthen judicial functioning through regular inspections and systemic reforms across the state. The Chief Justice held a meeting with the judicial officers, took stock of old pending cases, and gave necessary suggestions and directions for their quick disposal. He directed that old pending cases be cleared on a priority basis and in accordance with the rules. The Chief Justice expressed satisfaction over the clearance of deficiencies that were noted during his previous inspection of the Raipur district.
