CGBSE exams for 10th, 12th from Feb 20

Raipur: The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) released the timetable for the High School Certificate (Class 10) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (Class 12) main examinations for the year 2026. The examinations will be conducted from Feb 20 to March 18, 2026, between 9:00 am and 12:15 pm.The Class 10 examination will be conducted from Feb 21 to March 13, 2026, and students must take their seats by 9:00 am. Question papers will be distributed at 9:10 am, and answer writing will begin at 9:15 am.The first paper is Hindi (First Language) on Feb 21, followed by English (Second Language) on Feb 24. Other major subjects include Social Science, Science, Mathematics, Sanskrit, various regional languages, vocational courses, and special subjects for visually impaired or differently abled students.The Class 12 examinations will be held from the same date, with timings and instructions consistent with the Class 10 schedule. The timetable covers key disciplines such as Geography, Political Science, Chemistry, Accountancy, Physics, Biology, Mathematics, Computer Application, History, Business Studies, and a range of vocational and language subjects.Vocational courses include Retail Marketing Management, Information Technology, Automobile Service Technician, Health Care, Agriculture, Media and Entertainment, and Financial Services, among others.Students are advised to review the timetable carefully and follow all examination rules and timings. The board has also said that it reserves the right to change exam dates or timings if required. Examinations will continue as scheduled even if govt holidays fall during the exam period.Practical and project exams for self-study students will be conducted at designated exam centres, with dates and timings to be announced by centre heads.
