Woman tries to grab gold chain; held
Pune: A woman (19) from Buldhana was arrested and a girl (13) from Satara was detained for attempting to snatch a gold chain, worth Rs75,000, from a woman during the palkhi procession on Solapur Road early on Wednesday morning. “The arrested woman and the girl are relatives. They came to Pune to steal valuables of devotees,” said senior inspector Bhausaheb Pathare of Wanowrie police station. TNN
