Mapping the route: Corridors and key stations

The priority corridor of Patna Metro’s 14.45-km Corridor II (Blue Line) is being built in two phases. The 6.49-km priority corridor, which includes five elevated stations — Malahi Pakri, Khemnichak, Bhoothnath, Zero Mile and New ISBT — is being built in the first phase.

Inside the metro: Coaches and comfort

The metro coaches, assembled in Pune, were already brought to Patna by road in July. Each metro train, touted to be the “fastest mode of transportation in Patna” will consist of three coaches. The coaches feature reserved seating for women and modern safety systems.

On-site oversight: Progress inspected

Chief minister Nitish Kumar inspected the Bairia terminal and Zero Mile station, directing officials to ensure timely and quality construction across all key facilities.
