New project director of NTPC Kanti

Patna: Pankaj Kumar Gupta has assumed charge as project head of NTPC, Kanti. Currently serving as chief general manager, he brings over 34 years of experience in the power sector.
Gupta joined NTPC in 1991 as an executive trainee and has since held several key positions across the organisation. During his career, he has contributed to project engineering, mechanical systems, energy transition, environmental management, and strategic planning.
He previously served at NTPC Kahalgaon, corporate centre, energy transition and policy group, and most recently at NTPC Meja, where he handled several important assignments.
Academically, Gupta holds a B Tech in mechanical engineering from Lucknow University and an M Tech in applied mechanics from the IIT-Delhi.
