Pankaj Kumar Gupta takes charge as project director of NTPC Kanti

Patna: Pankaj Kumar Gupta has assumed charge as project head of NTPC Kanti. Currently serving as chief general manager, he brings over 34 years of experience in the power sector.Gupta joined NTPC in 1991 as an executive trainee and has since held several key positions across the organisation. During his career, he has contributed to project engineering, mechanical systems, energy transition, environmental management, and strategic planning.He has previously served at NTPC Kahalgaon, the Corporate Centre, the Energy Transition & Policy Group, and most recently at NTPC Meja, where he handled several important assignments.Academically, Gupta holds a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from Lucknow University and an MTech in Applied Mechanics from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi.
