PATNA: The two warring ultra left organisations, the Maoist Communist Centre (MCC) and the People’s War (PW), have resolved to end their conflict.

patna: the two warring ultra left organisations, the maoist communist centre (mcc) and the people's war (pw), have resolved to end their conflict. the decision to resolve the conflict was taken by the two organisations during a two-day meeting held at a secret place on august 23 and 24. leaders of the two organisations expressed their willingness to end the conflict at any cost after indulging into an open criticism and self-criticism, the pw and the mcc said in joint statement issued here on thursday.

the central leadership of the two outfits have taken a pledge to unite and transform the inter-conflict into friendship, the joint statement, signed by central committee members santosh and paresh of the pw and mcc respectively, said. stating that separate decisions were made by the mcc and the pw in january and march 2000 to end the conflict, the two outfits held the grass roots-level activists responsible for the killing of over a dozen mcc and pw cadres since the year 2000 in bihar and jharkhand. in order to end the conflict, both the organisations have decided that a joint team, comprising at least one member each of central committee and state committee, of both the organisations would be formed to investigate into the killings about which they are ignorant, the statement said.
