Madhepura killing: Informer disowns FIR

<div class="section1"><div class="Normal"><span style="" font-family:="" times="" new="" roman="" class="author">DEO NARAYAN SAHA</span><br />MADHEPURA: The case of murder of Mohammad Ishar of Purainibazar locality here, allegedly by Vishal Kumar Yadav alias Babloo, son of minister Rajendra Prasad Yadav, took a twist after the informant, father of the deceased Mohd Idris, disowned his verson of the incident mentioned in the FIR.<br />Mohammad Ishar was allegedly killed in indiscriminate fire opened during an orchestra programme organised on the occasion of Chaiti Durga Puja held here on April 23.<br />Immediately after the incident, Mohd Idris had lodged an FIR at the Madhepura police station charging Vishal with shooting his son dead.

Raju Pandit, a local resident, too, had received bullet injury in the incident. The incident had been reported extensively in the regional and national media.<br />A local court had issued non-bailable warrant against the accused person on April 27 which is yet to be executed.<br />Recently, the informant of the case, Mohd Idris, filed an affidavit in the court of the Madhepura CJM, disowning his verson in he FIR. Mohd Idris in his affidavit has said that he was not present at the scene of the incident. <br />He was informed of the incident at his house. He ruled out the involvement of the minister''s son in the incident.<br />In his affidavit, Idris says he was informed that unknown assailants had fired on the crowd watching the orchestra programme in which his son and one Raju Pandit received serious bullet injuries. Both were admitted to hospital. When he reached the hospital, he found his son lying dead and Raju Pandit injured.<br />He further says in the affidavit that he was grieved over killing of his son and during that state of mind, some people got his signature on some papers at the police station. He claimed to have filed the affidavit after he learnt about the contents of the FIR.<br />The injured Raju Pandit too has filed a separate affidavit in the same court. He, in his affidavit, says that he along with the ill-fated youth was watching the programme. Some assailants fired hitting Ishar and him seriously. Ishar succumbed to the bullet injury. He says that the minister''s son was innocent.<br />The latest twist makes the task of the police to properly investigate the case much more difficult.</div> </div>
