BDO arrested in graft case

Gaya: Vigilance sleuths on Wednesday arrested Fatehpur block development officer (BDO) Rahul Ranjan, while accepting a bribe of Rs 70,000. Vigilance deputy superintendent of police Pawan Kumar said, "Following complaint by Fatehpur deputy pramukh Randhir Kumar that the BDO was demanding a bribe for implementation of development schemes sanctioned in 2023, a trap was laid. The BDO was arrested from the campus of sub-divisional public grievance redressal office at Fatehpur".
