DSP’s ancestral house burgled

Patna: Thieves broke into the ancestral house of Traffic DSP Dilip Prasad Sah in Qutubpur village under Bidupur area of Vaishali late Monday night and decamped with valuables worth over Rs15 lakh. The house, owned by his father, retired banker Ganga Prasad Sah, was occupied by family members who were asleep. The burglars reportedly entered through the roof, broke open a cupboard and stole jewellery, cash and other items. The family reported the theft on Tuesday morning. Police registered a case and began an investigation.
