and six of his supporters in connection with the alleged firing to scare away a group of children who were playing cricket in his orchard on Sunday. Prasad is the BJP MLA from Nautan.

told TOI on Monday that the minister's brother Harendra Prasad and his nephew Vijay Sah have also been named in the FIR lodged by one Rina Devi, the mother of one of the injured children. The incident took place at
Hardiya Koeri Tola
village under Muffasil police station area.
The SP said the complainant alleged that Bablu and his supporters reached the village orchard and asked the children playing cricket there to vacate the place. As children resisted, they beat up some of them. She also alleged that Bablu opened fire in the air to scare away the children.
He said police seized the vehicle used by the minister's son. Bablu's licensed rifle and pistol which he carried to the orchard had also been seized for further investigation. He said the FIR has been registered with Muffasil police station under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 307 of the IPC and 27, Arms Act.
