Reddy assured that all information shared online is safe, as already clarified by the Registrar General of India. The DC further said there are 33 questions to answer, which can be done on https://se.census.gov.in in less than five minutes. Once the self-enumeration process ends, trained enumerators will start house-listing from April 15-May 15. All those who complete self-enumeration will receive a unique code that will have to be shared with the enumerators. Around 7,748 enumerators, including teachers and employees from various govt agencies, have been roped in for the census. Responding to a query, Reddy said in case any correction needs to be carried out after receiving the unique code, the enumerator must be informed during house visit. The census, which occurs every 10 years, was scheduled for 2021, but was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
