Rush at NESCO

The NESCO vaccination centre in Goregaon also saw a large number of people queuing up to get the jab. They complained that even after registering their names in the CoWIN portal, it was not found at the vaccination centre. In several cases, the co-morbidities of the beneficiaries also did not get updated on the portal. Chaos at vaccine centres

The situation throughout the day was quite chaotic at the BKC Jumbo Centre, NESCO Jumbo Centre and at the private HJ Doshi Hindu Sabha Hospital due to the glitches. In some of the centres, the glitch in the portal was resolved by 2 pm, but by then, the crowd had swelled and the health workers faced difficulties in managing the crowd. Sharad Pawar takes the jab

NCP supremo Sharad Pawar was also administered the coronavirus vaccine on Monday at JJ Hospital in Mumbai. "To strengthen the Vaccination Drive, I appeal to all those who are eligible to take vaccine and join the fight against coronavirus," he tweeted. Pawar's daughter and NCP leader Supriya Sule also got herself inoculated.

Congress against fuel price hike

Congress leaders on Monday organised a cycle rally outside Vidhan Bhavan as a mark of protest against the fuel price hike and to target the Centre.
