Mumbai: Four arrested with mephedrone, marijuana in separate cases

MUMBAI: The Mumbai Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) on Saturday arrested two youths possessing 190 grams of

mephedrone

(MD) and 15 grams of cocaine collectively worth Rs 24 lakh.

The ANC Worli unit on Saturday laid a trap based on a tip off and arrested Nikhil Mahesh Malkarnekar (27) and Shivarth Raj Datt (20).

In another incident, two persons, including a senior citizen, were arrested with 58kg of

marijuana

by the Juhu police on Saturday. The seizure is worth Rs 11 lakh. Police said they acted on a tip-off that narcotics were stored in a chawl at Nehru Nagar slums.

A raid was carried out folloing which the accused Mohan Rathod (48) and Maruti Jaanbandhu (65) were arrested.
