Increase in no. of HSC, SSC exam centres

Mumbai: With class 10 and 12 students writing exams from their own schools and colleges, the number of exam centres has gone up by three fold, said school education minister

. The number of SSC exam centres has gone up from 5,042 to 21,349.

HSC

centres have jumped from 2,943 to 9,613. Earlier students got centres closer to their schools and colleges. This year as a special case they travel to their own educational institute to write their exams. HSC exams begin from March 4 and SSC starts from March 15.
