Package 1 (10.380 km), Package 2 (7.807 km) and Package 3 (3.613 km) will ensure 40-minute lesser travel times from CSMT to Navi Mumbai Aiport and JNPT.

Structural steel is equivalent to 3 Howrah bridges, which consumed 26,500 tons (of steel).

6 lanes with provisions for emergency lanes

The bridge will be completed as scheduled by September 2022, says minister Eknath Shinde.

The project costing Rs 17,843 will save one crore litre of fuel per year.
