Dongri Labourer Stabbed by Younger Brother Over Spat

Mumbai: A 40-year-old labourer was stabbed by his younger brother in the Dongri area over a petty dispute on Sunday evening. The injured, Khairul Ali Sheikh, a resident of Dongri, in his complaint stated that the accused, Hair Ali Sheikh (38), verbally abused him and confronted him regarding his habit of demanding money and picking fights with people. In an attempt to stop the abuse, Khairul slapped him, he stated. The accused left the spot and returned later and stabbed Sheikh in the neck. Khairul was shifted to JJ Hospital. Police have registered a case of attempted murder.
