Vice-President arrives in Mangaluru

Mangaluru: Vice-President CP Radhakrishnan arrived at Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) in a special Indian Air Force aircraft Saturday. He was welcomed by Dakshina Kannada MP Capt Brijesh Chowta with a traditional jasmine garland. City police commissioner Sudheer Kumar Reddy CH and deputy commissioner Darshan HV were also present to receive him.

The Vice-President later proceeded to Dharmasthala by helicopter. He would stay the night at the Dharmasthala guest house, and Sunday morning, he is scheduled to visit the Dharmasthala temple and inaugurate the Siri Industrial Park at the Amruthavarshini Auditorium.

In view of the Vice-President’s visit, elaborate security arrangements were made at Mangaluru International Airport and in Dharmasthala.
