Swamy to visit coast today

Mangaluru: Subramanian Swamy, BJP leader, former Union cabinet minister and president of Virat Hindustan Sangam will be in Mangaluru and Manjeshwar, Kasaragod district of Kerala on Wednesday and Thursday. He will arrive on Wednesday evening, and around 8:30 pm attend the Ganesha Utsav Aarti at Sangh Niketan, Mannagudda. On Thursday, he will visit the Shri Krishna Dhyana Kendra, Mudipu, Kurnadu, at 9:30 am. On the same day from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, he will address a public meeting ‘Prerana’, organised by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Kasargod, at Hosangadi, Manjeshwar.

Panel to address issues of pharmacists on Thursday

The health department in Jaipur has formed a committee to address the demands of 2,600 pharmacists who have been boycotting work for the past three days. The committee will hold a meeting on Thursday to discuss and resolve the issue. The pharmacists, who are not on a contractual basis, are responsible for implementing the free medicine scheme and managing drug distribution counters.

Ganesha arrives for 10-day sojourn in city

People in Lucknow celebrated the 10-day Ganesh Utsav with enthusiasm, welcoming Lord Ganesha at various pandals in the city. The festival, which marks the birthday of the God of wisdom and intellect, will continue until September 28. Despite the pandemic, devotees dressed in traditional attire sang and danced as they installed Ganesha idols. The pandals also focused on the importance of nature conservation, using floral decorations and informing visitors about the need to support nature.

Its a boy for Dhruva Sarja & Prerana

Dhruva Sarja and Prerana welcomed their second child, a baby boy, on Ganesha Chaturthi. Dhruva shared the news on social media, expressing his excitement. Their first child, a girl, was born in October 2022. Family members, including Meghana Raj, visited the couple in the hospital and confirmed that both the mother and baby are healthy. Meghana Raj also mentioned the strong bond between Dhruva and his late husband, Chiranjeevi Sarja, and expressed her belief that the new baby will be a dynamic duo with Dhruva, just like Chiranjeevi.
