Surat-M’luru special train regularised as bi-weekly express
Mangaluru: Indian Railways has decided to regularise Train No. 09057/09058 Surat-Mangaluru Junction-Surat Special as Train No. 19057/19058 Surat-Mangaluru Junction-Surat Bi-Weekly Express.
The regularised service will commence from Surat from June 3 and from Mangaluru Junction from June 4. According to a release from Konkan Railway, Train No. 19057 Surat-Mangaluru Junction Bi-Weekly Express will depart from Surat at 7.35 pm every Wednesday and Sunday, and will reach Mangaluru Junction at 7.45 pm the following day.
Meanwhile, Train No. 19058 Mangaluru Junction–Surat Bi-Weekly Express will depart from Mangaluru Junction at 10.30 pm every Thursday and Monday, and will arrive at Surat at 11.45 pm on the next day.
The train will halt at Karwar, Ankola, Gokarna Road, Kumta, Murdeshwar, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Kundapura, Udupi, Mulki and Surathkal stations.
The train will have a total composition of 20 coaches, including one AC 2-tier coach, seven AC 3-Tier coaches, six sleeper class coaches, four general coaches and two SLR/D coaches.
Meanwhile, Train No. 19058 Mangaluru Junction–Surat Bi-Weekly Express will depart from Mangaluru Junction at 10.30 pm every Thursday and Monday, and will arrive at Surat at 11.45 pm on the next day.
