Friends cheer up injured buddy

LUDHIANA: To cheer up their bedridden friend Himanshu Dawar of Model Town, Vineet Goel of Aggar Nagar and Manish Sharma of BRS Nagar had planned a special day for him on Thursday. The treat for Himanshu included a haircut by a professional stylist and a platterful of his favourite chicken salad.
Himanshu had sustained injuries when he met with an accident a couple of days ago.Fond of working out, Himanshu was feeling a bit low when his friends turned up at his house on Thursday afternoon. Much to Himanshu's joy, they had brought along a hairstylist to give him a makeover.
Himanshu's mother Amrita said, ''I saw how happy he became when his friends came. They truly are his friends in need.''
The trio then played on Himanshu's playstation and enjoyed chicken salad.
With the evening turning out to be pleasant, Himanshu's buddies drove him to the Kipps market.
''I have such thoughtful friends... they made me feel special, even more than they did on my birthday,'' he said.
The friends wrapped up the day by enjoying latest Hollywood flicks on Himanshu's home theatre.
