Dairy worker ends life by hanging self

Ludhiana: A middle-aged dairy worker on Thursday ended his life by hanging himself at his rented accommodation in the dairy complex on Hambran road. The deceased was identified as Manoj Yadav, 39, of Bihar.Manoj, along with his wife and two children, was living in a rented accommodation at the dairy complex for the last seven to eight years. Early morning on Thursday, after milking the cattle at the dairy, he ended his life by hanging himself from the staircase iron grill.As per reports, the police was informed after someone saw the dead body, raised an alarm and told the dairy owner about the same.ACP West Mandeep Singh said that the man allegedly ended his life owing to some family-related issue. They added that the police has initiated inquest proceedings under Section 174 of the CrPC.
