BCM honours toppers

To honour its toppers from class 10 and 12, BCM Senior Secondary school, Focal Point, organized a 'Toppers Day' at the school premises on Chandigarh Road.

LUDHIANA: To honour its toppers from class 10 and 12, BCM Senior Secondary school, Focal Point, organized a 'Toppers Day' at the school premises on Chandigarh Road. Parveen Kaur Chawla, principal Master Tara Singh Memorial College, was chief guest.
Some of the class 12 students honoured include Sarika, who bagged first position in Punjab; she was awarded a cash prize of Rs 11,000 and Nishtha, who bagged second position in the state was also honoured with a cash prize of Rs 7,500.

Class 10 students honoured included Shivam, who bagged 2nd position in the state. He was also given a cash prize of Rs 7,500. The students also presented a cultural extravaganza on the occasion.
Principal of the school, Neeru Kaura, said that Sarika and Shivam had also been honoured with a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh and Rs 75,000, respectively, by Punjab State Education Board. She appreciated the efforts made by students and their teachers who guided them towards success.
